SARAH PADGETT

Originally from St. Louis, Sarah has lived in the Charlotte area a combined total of 22 years. She attended Providence High and earned her undergraduate degree in Journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill and a master’s degree from Northwestern University. Her personal introduction into the chess world came from her young son and husband, who enjoy playing chess together. 

Sarah has held various positions in marketing over the years, both locally and out of state (Atlanta, NYC). When not working in her current administrative role at the CCC, Sarah enjoys her work helping clients buy and sell local real estate and being a mom to an energetic young boy. 

Some of Sarah’s hobbies include jogging, travel, current events and meeting new people. She and her husband also enjoy rooting their son on at his baseball games.
