OVERVIEW
A 3 round "quad" US Chess-rated tournament open to all adult players and youth. Quads, which group players by their skill level, are a great way to ensure closer matchups for a more fun and competitive challenge. Opportunity to play 3 regular rated games in one night!

CCC HOURS
6:00pm - 10:00pm
REQUIREMENTS
Participants must be members of the US Chess Federation
ROUND TIMES
Round 1: 7:00pm
Round 2: ASAP
Round 3: ASAP
End Time: Between 8:30pm-10:00pm depending on quad.
TIME CONTROL
G/20; Increment 10
Each player receives 20 minutes plus a 10 second bonus each move to complete each game
HOW IT WORKS
Players must register weekly and in advance
Quads - players placed into groups of 4 by their most recent US Chess rating*
3 US Chess rated games every Wednesday night
Top 4 quads also FIDE rapid rated
Each evening will be limited to the first 60 players to register
Entries are first registered, first served
*Minor roster shifts to avoid family member pairings may be possible
PRIZES
$40 to the winner of each quad; $45 for perfect 3-0 score

CCC Members Rated 2000+: Free Entry ($20 deducted from any prize)

WITHDRAWAL

NOTES
All players must be members of US Chess
Must register weekly - first registered, first served
Quad players are not permitted to withdraw mid-event. Forfeiters will not be able to enter future CCC events.

REFUNDS
$3 transaction fee until Tuesday (one day before the event)
$5 transaction fee for same-day cancellations until 6:00pm
Players must withdraw by 6:00 if they are not going to play - no refund for cancellations after 6:00pm
All registration closes at 6:30pm
