OVERVIEW
The Charlotte Chess Center is proud to host the 2025 Pan-American Intercollegiate Team Championship and US Collegiate Blitz Championship.
Collegiate chess teams from universities, colleges, community colleges, and technical colleges from the Americas and the Caribbean are welcome to join. See eligibility requirements below.
The events are both US Chess and FIDE rated.

ELIGIBILITY
US Chess membership is required for all players. Membership renewal is not handled by the organizers and must be done before the tournament.
All teams need to submit the Student Eligibility Form, no later than January 1.

Each player receives a base time of 90 minutes. After every move, 30 seconds is added to the clock.

Registration should be completed by the team captain. Team captains will be able to use the registration portal to add members to the team and change board order.

RATINGS USED
January 2025 US Chess regular ratings used for team averages.
See Pan-Am College Chess Rules above for FIDE and CFC rating conversions.
For rating adjustments, coaches may challenge a rating used for their own player. Coaches may not challenge ratings for players not on their team.
For coaches who want to have their players' rating adjusted, the coach must submit the change along with documentation showing that their player meets the criteria for the change/adjustment.
